Picky eater...

Hello! I'm new to this community, but I'm hoping you can help me out. n_n;;

I bought a 6 month old BRB in Feb. She's sweet tempered - none of the nippy behavior I was warned they sometimes have - and she's been through one successful shedding so far. She seems healthy, calm, easily handled, and gets kind of active at night. The only problem is her feeding schedule.

For the first 6 weeks she ate about every 8 days. Then when she was shedding she didn't want to eat for about 2 weeks. I hoped that was related to the shedding, but it's been 2 weeks again since she last ate. I'm using the same size mice I did before she shed, so the food shouldn't last her longer than it did before. Plus I found her leavings a few days ago. I've tried feeding her several days this week, leaving her alone in her feed tank for up to 6 hours, but she just ignores the food. She eats frozen pinkies, and according to the pet store, that's all she's ever been fed.

I keep her temp and humidity within the recommended ranges and provide water and hiding areas, I'm doing everything I can think of to take care of her... so why is her eating off? I was told she should eat about every 7-10 days - and she was for weeks - but going on 14 days for the second feeding in a row, I'm getting nervous.

Does anyone have any advice?
